When students at Lake in the Hills Elementary show respect for self, property, others, or teaching they can be "spotted" by a staff member at any time. Once a student receives a SPOT ticket they fill it out with their name, date, and the location they were spotted. Each Monday one SPOT will be pulled from each classroom or school location. This student's name will be read over the intercom on Tuesday and they receive a pencil. All other SPOT tickets will be passed back to students and they will keep their SPOTs until they visit the school store.
